Opera singers and neanderthals

Currently I'm sitting in the school library and my ears are graced with a bona-fide cacophony. In the distance I hear an opera singer and a piano which are quite pleasant. In stark contrast is Australopithecus, listening to his music at an uncomfortable level, nodding his head and engaging in attempting to make his mating call. He appears to be in pain, probably because he is the last of his people. Does he realize this?

Usually I have my rose colored spectacles on protecting me from the harsh and barren atmosphere of reality, but I took them off for a few hours and apparently the set of Encino Man walked through a time machine and appeared today. I've spotted 5 different Australopithecus. They carry with them an iPod and have a hunger to make noises that sound like they are in an incredible amount of pain. They take a liking to sitting next to me in areas that are usually reserved for quietness, like THE LIBRARY.

Despite my efforts to flee, they follow me. My scent must be thick with floral accents and a tinge of annoyance. They are feeding off of my pain.

Okay so now that I've vented I feel much better. The coffee is amazing, the weather is amazing, my career is going really well and my social life is at a peak.

The downside is I have no time to sit alone in my room and relax. I guess that's what the gym and yoga are for, right?

Last night I had a vision. It was while on a jog with my dog out in the middle of nowhere. It is times like these that make me feel alive.
