Anyone know what kind of caterpillars these are?

I'm trying to figure out what type of caterpillars these are.
I'm thinking it's a Hyles Gallii, but caterpillars are not my forte. I really want to know what this is there are so many in our garden eating our tomato plants!

    Thank you! and actually I think they are the tobacco worms, due to them having a different number of bars on the side of them.
